Six Sigma Group develops new lean sigma simulation exercise

Responding to the ever-present question from businesses about how ‘lean’ and Six Sigma’ complement each other, the Six Sigma Group has developed a one-day exercise that illustrates how the DMAICT improvement methodology and the tools of lean and Six Sigma work in tandem to eliminate waste and reduce variation in any process.

The simulation is hugely participative and educational – and according to participants who have attended the workshop, representing both manufacturing and service sectors, it has given them a tremendous motivational and directional ‘kick’.
