I'm relatively new to Six Sigma. I'm interested in learning about the types of challenges you run into applying the methodology in organizations. Lean, for example, usually seems to fail without top-down buyi-in, support, and representation. That is easier said than done. Some professionals address this effectively from the beginning. Others more concerned with the technical applications and not really aware if implementation challenges usually fare poorly.

At the moment I'm experiencing that although I seem to be very interesting for several companies to be invited for job interviews for quite senior level positions, I also receive the rejection for the same reason; not senior enough.

I work for BE Aerospace in Leighton Buzzard, UK. At this site the company provides predominantly aftermarket spares, crew rests and galleys for aircraft interiors. The site is 3 years in to its lean journey and has yet to embrace six sigma. As a new recruit to BE from the automotive industry with six sigma BB certification I am looking to find other companies in non-competing industries who are in a similar state of change. My intent is to ‘go and see’ change culture and initiatives and hopefully exchange experiences whilst providing fresh eyes for both/all businesses. I would also like to benchmark ourselves against other businesses.

I compared 3 study groups for two different independent
parameters (Velocity and Strain). I find significant difference for velocity (ANOVA Sig=0.009) and Strain (ANOVA Sig=0.000) between the groups.
