Description

My client is a US manufacturing company with over 19,000 employees and operations in over 30 locations around the world. It has experience over 10% sales growth during the last 5 years and commands a strong reputation in its market.

As Continuous Improvement (CI) Champion for one of the divisions, you will lead a team of eight CI practitioners focused on the delivery of Lean and Six Sigma projects across various business functions, including manufacturing, supply chain, engineering and marketing.

As a measure of your success in this position, during your first year, you will have:

• Managed your team to the delivery of circa US$30m in annual productivity gains across the various business functions.
• Maintained a high level of motivation within your team, through effective coaching and mentoring.
• Developed the expertise level within your team (they will have showed progression within the Belt structure).
• Maintained a high level of engagement and embedding of CI as the key method of improvement within the various business functions your team supports.
• Developed the usage of more advanced CI (Lean and Six Sigma) tools within your team and their project teams.

The scope of this role is the entire division, which has key operations in the UK, France, Germany, Spain and Benelux; therefore candidates must already be located in one of these countries. The idea location in the UK is either South East or North West UK.
