The Six Sigma and Lean Glossary

We are committed to developing a superior platform for learning and development through exchanging best practice, ideas and experience. The new online platform is now available, and represents the completion of phase one of an ongoing project to build an autonomous, unbiased and customer-led framework for learning and development.

One of our key objectives is to raise awareness of Six Sigma and other techniques for operational excellence in the wider European business community. We aim to cut through the jargon and provide real-life examples of how to take a structured approach to problems, base decisions on data, understand and improve existing processes, and design error-free products. We are building a framework for business leaders to benchmark their own performance and are currently creating a comprehensive and independent online Glossary of terms, tools & abbreviations used by Six Sigma and Lean professionals. Having listened to your feedback, we aim to provide a constantly evolving body of knowledge developed within the community, and consisting of real-life applications and examples of tools and their application within the workplace.
