'Go & See' activities across industries and benchmarking

I work for BE Aerospace in Leighton Buzzard, UK. At this site the company provides predominantly aftermarket spares, crew rests and galleys for aircraft interiors. The site is 3 years in to its lean journey and has yet to embrace six sigma. As a new recruit to BE from the automotive industry with six sigma BB certification I am looking to find other companies in non-competing industries who are in a similar state of change. My intent is to ‘go and see’ change culture and initiatives and hopefully exchange experiences whilst providing fresh eyes for both/all businesses. I would also like to benchmark ourselves against other businesses.
