Green Belt Books
I am a middle business entrepreneur working in the field of distribution.
I am interested in doing Six Sigma Green Belt certification course.
Can you advise me what books are appropriate for preparation for this course as well as using whilst doing this course?
If you provide me a list of useful books for this purpose I can make a decision to order some six sigma books that can be used by our group after general discussion. Are there any special handbooks or guidences for green and black belt six sigma courses?
I am also interested in findout out if there are books on Six Sigma translated into Russian?
Thank you in advance
Kind regards,
Pavel
Re:
Pavel,
After training some greenbelts, I issued them all with a tidy little reference book by Rath and Strong. It is called the Six Sigma Pocket Guide. ISBN 0-9705079-0-9.
I also use it regularly as a quick reference book, rather than attempting to find anything in my BB training manuals, if I need further clarification then I obviously dive into them.
Best regards
Tim
Re:
Pavel,
We have just published a practical guide to "Six Sigma and MINITAB" that I think will provided what you require.
It's aimed at people who are going through, or have been through training, and provides a practical reference to all the key tools and techniques of Six Sigma.
You can order it from:
or give me a call to discuss it, no +44 (0) 7967 754 069

Re:
Tavel are you sure that Six Sigma is the solution for you? I tell you that because Six Sigma is an expensive method ! generally for big company.
Why not with a Lean Manufacturing Program? The concept is the same, but it will solve problem on a project or serial products.
Have a look on internet with key words like KAIZEN...

Re:
Pavel,
Their are many ways you can do a Six Sigma Green Belt certification course.
I've read many books about Six Sigma but do not know any yet which has
the certification objective for Six Sigma Greenbelt or Blackbelt.
Most books give useful information about Six Sigma on different subjects. If you approuch the internet you will find wide range of good books.
A popular and easy way of doiing the Six Sigma courses is through e-learning.
