Design Assurance

Often the integrity of the initial Business Solution Design can be compromised as the Detailed Design is done. We offer Design Assurance to ensure the Business Solution Design is not compromised in any way that will affect the end objectives of the Programme.

The Business Solution Design is a high level design statement that models the new process, systems, organisation structure and behavioural expectations.

As the Detailed Design of process, systems and organisation structure is done and the Change Management tactics are applied the original model can be compromised so severely the end outcomes are no longer achievable.

Our Design Assurance capability ensure that all personnel understand the impacts of the detailed design and any changes to Programme scope. This is achieved by:

• Assigning a single design specialist who understands the model and process design, systems design, organisation design and change methodologies. This person will then review all aspects of the design.
• Working with all design teams to address conflicts and issues with the design.
• Working with the Sponsor, Stakeholders and Programme team to address any design issues.
• Working with the Programme Manager and leads of process, systems, organisation and change to modify plans and design.
• Working with the Programme Manager to modify plans and budgets.
• Assisting the Programme Manager to clear any critical changes to plans and budgets with the Sponsor and/or Board.
