What exactly is "innovation?"

According to the Advisory Committee on Measuring Innovation in the 21st Century Economy, Innovation can be defined as “the design, invention, development and/ or implementation of new or altered products, services, processes, systems, organizational structures or business models for the purpose of creating new value for customers and financial returns for the firm.”

Following the successful launch of the i&i Community of Practice in April, we are pleased to bring to you the second event on 1st July 2008 a the Sheraton Hotel, Heathrow.

The theme of the event is ‘Innovation’.

Thought leaders in this sought after subject will be presenting their ideas on the subject. Case studies and workshops on strategies for innovation, which have reinvigorated improvement activities, will explore the important aspects of innovation in business.
