i&i Members tackle Innovation through collaboration

Lean and Six Sigma

Description

The April User Group meeting was a terrific success and, for the first time, brought together i&i members – a corporate group of business improvement specialists, who through collaboration across corporate boundaries, are finding that networking in a structured way both online and at high quality meetings yields much more knowledge transfer than the traditional, somewhat staid conference event.

Senior representatives from Baxter Healthcare, Centrica, Credit Suisse, DuPont, Masterlease, Royal Mail, SCA Personal Care, Sun Chemical, TNT Express, Virgin Media and Vodafone congregated at the prestigious Starwood Hotels and Resports meetings venue The Cafe Royal in London Picaddilly to discuss 'Setting the Direction of Change'. Leadership tools including Hoshin Kanri, Balanced Scorecard and Net Promoter Score were presented with case study examples and the carefully designed networking workshops were hailed a success by all members. “More valuable than a conference ...because we actually conferred” commented the head of Lean Enterprise at Linpac Plastics.

Following the successful launch of the i&i Community of Practice in April, i&i are pleased to bring to you the second meeting of members, hosted by Starwood Hotels and Resorts, on 1st July 2008 at the Sheraton Hotel, Heathrow.

The theme of the July User Group Meeting is ‘Innovation’, and a limited number of spaces are made available to guests of i&i Members. This does not apply to consultants and service providers. (view meeting details)

i&i meetings are NOT conferences. i&i User Group Meetings are exclusive forums for high quality information exchange and collaboration.

High level discussions focus on the approach to implementing improvement programmes, harnessing innovation, managing change, integrating methods into business, understanding their origin, adoption, future development and application to different working environments.

i&i supports the process for learning and inspire change, by developing structured formal networks for its members and disseminating knowledge throughout the community.

i&i events follow no other agenda than to create value for the i&i community. This is reflected in the code of conduct, ethical approach and strict no selling policy.

Our attention to the Voice of the Community feedback ensures in depth discussions and focus on useful interaction and debate.

We are proud to have achieved an extremely high rate of satisfaction from attendees - Promoter Score currently at 8.81 out of 10 and an NPS of 50% (60% is considered world class). We distribute ALL of our feedback to our attendees, and act on it.
