Denver, July 7, 2005
Decisioneering, Inc., an innovator of software and services for risk analysis and optimisation, and Kozo Keikaku Engineering, Inc., have jointly announced the Japanese version of Crystal Ball software. The fully localised version of Crystal Ball 7 will enable Japanese businesses to improve the quality of their critical business decisions.
Like its English counterpart, the Japanese version of Crystal Ball is a Microsoft Excel-based application for risk analysis. The software transforms spreadsheets into dynamic forecasting models that solve almost any problem involving uncertainty, variability and risk.
Tokyo-based Kozo has been Decisioneering’s sole independent local representative for Crystal Ball software for more than 13 years. In the past several years in Japan, the demand for Crystal Ball software has grown dramatically and an updated localized version of the software became a necessity.
'With the release of the Japanese version of Crystal Ball 7, Japanese businesses will have the ability to make more informed business decisions using simulation, time-series forecasting and optimisation, said Jim Franklin, CEO of Decisioneering. Kozo has extensive experience and an outstanding reputation in the Japanese software market. Their in-depth local market knowledge and commitment to quality give our Japanese customers the best possible experience.
'When we first saw a demonstration of Crystal Ball software, we knew immediately the competitive advantage it would bring our clients, said Shota Hattori, president of Kozo Keikaku Engineering, Inc. Decisioneering has set the standard for risk analysis software, and we are proud to continue to join forces and sell the Japanese version of Crystal Ball.
