Decisioneering Appoints Daniel Epel Managing Director for EMEA

Daniel Epel has joined Decisioneering, Inc., an innovator of software and services for risk analysis and optimisation, as the managing director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Epel will lead Decisioneering's continued expansion into new and existing markets and build strategic alliances with corporate, academic and government partners in the region.
Formerly the Director of Global Business Development for Apple Computers, Epel brings more than two decades of experience in international sales, marketing and business development in the high tech field to contribute to Decisioneering's leadership in the spreadsheet-based risk analysis industry.

Prior to joining Decisioneering, Epel was the founder and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Merestone Wireless Systems. As founder and executive at the company, Epel developed the original concept, defined the market and product requirements, wrote the business plan and recruited management and development teams. He previously served as vice president of corporate and business development for Docent, a public company and leading provider of enterprise software in the e-learning market. Epel has also held the position of senior vice president of sales and marketing for Vadem.
