Design Better Processes from the Start and Avoid Rework
Perfect for R&D teams and existing Six Sigma practitioners, BMG's DFSS training is built around the idea that "design" is a truly cross-functional undertaking, not simply the sole responsibility of the "process designer." While statistical design tools are an integral part of this course, the importance of VOC (Voice of the Customer), financial analysis and supplier selection are also emphasized.
Process DFSS is great for these types of transactional issues:
* Invoicing and billing processes
* Managing inventory
* Customer feedback tracking
* New product development launch processes
Choose a manufacturing or transactional focused class to meet your needs. This is a five day course.
What You Will Learn
* How to design new services and processes using the DMADV methodology
* How to describe and master the elements of a transactional process
* How to define inventory policies based on customer needs
* How to complete financial assessments and risk analysis projects
* How to use multiple DFSS tools applicable to the transactional environment including Quality Function Deployment (QFD), Pugh Matrix and Design Scorecards
Who Should Attend
Most appropriate for Six Sigma Black Belts or Green Belts who have an understanding of both ANOVA and regression, and have completed at least one project. This program also qualifies as an elective in BMG's Master Black Belt Certification program.
Note: If you are interested in taking both Design for Six Sigma courses (Product Design and Process Design), BMG will extend a discounted rate of $2,000 for enrollment in the second course.
